Programs
Fast-Twitch offers customized training programs to improve athletic performance for male and female athletes of all ages and sports. The programs coincide with each athletes needs; focusing not only on their strengths, but their weaknesses. The program is based on periodization to guarantee each athlete reaches optimal performance levels by the start of their sport season and maintain their top performance throughout. Each athlete will receive free nutrition counseling and meal plans to reach their athletic goals and promote recovery.
Professional/Collegiate
This program is comprehensive and specific to any professional or collegiate athlete. It is designed to meet the demands of the highest level of competition in the world. Training includes total body strength, speed, agility, conditioning, footwork, and proper recovery.
Combine/Camp Prep
This program is specific to any collegiate or high school athlete preparing for a camp or combine. The combine/camp prep program teaches the athletes training techniques to improve times and numbers in the 10, 20, 40, and 60 yard dash, pro shuttle, L-Drill, bench press, vertical jump, and broad jump. A combine/camp lift is also available to aid in the improvement of testing numbers and peak athletes for a specific day.
High School Fast-Twitch
This program consists of sport specific training that emphasizes explosion, speed and acceleration, first step burst, agility, footwork, balance, and flexibility. This program is highly competitive and will coincide with a high school lifting program. This program can be performed independently or in conjunction with the Fast Twitch High School Strength Training program.
High School Strength Training
This program uses Olympic lifting and ground based exercises to develop explosive power, maximal strength, and reduce every athlete’s risk of injury by always focusing on lifting technique. Linear periodization is used to peak athletes for specific moments, or reach maximal levels of athletic performance for the beginning of a season and maintain throughout.
Middle School Fast-Twitch
This program consists of general athletic training that emphasizes speed and acceleration, first step burst, agility, footwork, balance, and flexibility. This program is performed in conjunction with the Middle School Strength Training program.
Middle School Strength Training
This program is an introduction for young athletes into strength training by performing exercises using body weight, medicine balls, and bands. The goals of the program are to teach every participant proper strength training technique, reduce risk of injury, and develop the overall strength of the athlete with an emphasis on the core, hips, glutes, and hamstrings.
Youth Fast-Twitch Program
This program consists of athletic performance training that is designed and implemented with medically sound principles that are safe for growing young bodies. The program includes basic strengthening exercises, speed, agility, footwork, balance, flexibility, and injury prevention techniques through movement-based exercises. A focus is put on injury prevention to keep athletes on the field, court, or track and away from overuse injuries that are becoming more prevalent every year.
In-season Training Program
This program is designed for all athletes currently participating in a sport. The goal of the program is for the athlete to maintain the gains that have been acheived throughout the preseason/offseason training. We beleive that in order for athlete to have successful seasons, he/she must be as fast, explosive, and strong as they were in the beginning of the season. This program is one day a week with an intensity that is much lower than in the preseason/offseason.
Nutrition/Recovery
The nutrition and recovery counseling is free and customized to every Fast-Twitch member. Whether weight gain or weight loss is the goal, the nutrition plan is designed to increase muscle mass, improve energy levels, body recovery, and overall health of the athlete. Proper nutrition will facilitate greater athletic performance and keep young athletes away from harmful supplements.
Video Analysis
Video analysis gives the athlete an in-depth look at the mechanics and techniques used to perform a specific exercise or drill. This can be used to break down movements in running technique, starts, vertical and broad jump, combine prep drills, or even Olympic lifts. This can be utilized in one-on-one training or small group training.
Individual Training
While most programs offered are in a group setting, individual training is available for all athletes and adults looking for one-on-one attention to accomplish their own specific goals or goals of any program listed above.
